More than just a ‘walk in nature’, Forest Bathing uses mindfulness and meditation techniques to take you to a new level of sensory awareness that creates a profound send of peace, calm and enhanced well-being. Some describe it as transformational.

During our two hour forest bathing experience you will be guided through a series of invitations to tune into your senses, slow down and rediscover your true relationship with nature, and yourself. Our journey into nature will be slow and gentle to give you time to adjust from the fast pace of every day life, calm your mind and body and open yourself up to the healing properties nature brings.
Every forest bathing experience is different and all activities are 100% optional. There is no right or wrong way for the experience to unfold - sometimes it’s playful, sometimes still, sometimes full of laughter, and always rejuvenating.

Walks are slow paced, gentle, and at a low gradient. The experience is 2 hours and the time will fly by. A light snack and bush tea are included. Optional activities will be offered throughout to engage and awaken your senses and enable a true nature connection experience.

It is so close to the city that you can take a taxi and we encourage this as the simplest and quickest way to get there! There is plenty of free parking to self drive with your car. Clear directions will be provided on booking. All Forest Bathing locations are only 10-15 mins from of the city.

While we offer mindfulness experience in all our children’s programs, this is just for you and the grownups. Children aged 14 and up are welcome if it sounds good to them.

Absolutely, you can transfer it to another event or to someone else.

There is a standard cancellation fee of 10% and cancellations less than 48 hours of the tour will receive a 50% refund to cover some costs of catering and venue fee commitments.

You will be outside and Tasmania can be cold, especially after the sun sets so dress warmly. If the weather is very wet or very windy and we need to cancel, you will be notified of cancellation 48 hours in advance, with a change in venue option or a 90% refund or full exchange.
